Tarangire National Park is a landscape of mythic proportions, famously known as the Land of Giants. Dominated by prehistoric, towering baobab trees that dot the golden savannah, this park offers some of the most dramatic scenery in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. During the dry season, the life-giving Tarangire River becomes a magnetic force, drawing thousands of animals and creating one of the highest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem.
